Epic Games confirmed the massive crossover with a hilarious animated short film that details exactly how the boys get sucked into the metaverse. The clip shows Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman enjoying four-player squads, much to the chagrin of Butters, who is perpetually left out. In a desperate attempt to join the action, Butters turns to the legendary Stick of Truth, inadvertently dragging everyone into the world of *Fortnite*.
This collaboration is set to fundamentally shake up the core BR experience by introducing a feature players have demanded for years: a five-person squad option. For the first time, players can jump into the main mode in a group of five, presumably catering directly to the dynamic of the main *South Park* crew. Gameplay will also see unique additions like the Cheesy Poofs healing item and the powerful Stick of Truth Mythic weapon. On the map itself, the existing point of interest Wonkeeland is confirmed to undergo a thematic takeover, transforming into the appropriately named Cartmanland.
