This release date was revealed alongside a new trailer showcasing the high-stakes action where Runners must battle both rival player squads and persistent in-game security forces for survival and loot.
The journey to launch hasn’t been entirely smooth for the title, which was first announced in May 2023. *Marathon* was pushed back from its initial September release window following mixed player feedback from its Alpha test and a resolved art plagiarism controversy that occurred during development. Despite the developmental bumps, anticipation remains high, fueled in part by a surprisingly star-studded voice cast.
