Diving into the early stages of the *Arc Raiders* questline means facing some serious scavenger missions, including the potentially intimidating “Dormant Barons” task. While the name suggests a terrifying encounter with a massive Arc enemy, rest assured: these “Barons” are nothing more than substantial, lifeless husks. They pose no threat, meaning your goal is simply to locate and loot these destroyed robots for necessary components. Finding the specific location, however, can be tricky without the right intelligence.
For the most efficient and safest approach, focus your initial search efforts on the Dam Battlegrounds map. As the first major zone available in your journey, it conveniently hosts a total of three Baron Husks ripe for salvaging. While multiple points are available, we strongly advise against heading to the Husk located near the Breach. This spot is notoriously exposed and frequently patrolled by active enemy defenses, including pesky Sentinel turrets. To ensure a much smoother and less perilous completion of the quest, stick to targeting one of the two Baron Husks situated on the western side of the map.
