WWE superstar and high-profile collector Logan Paul is looking to cash in on one of his most prized possessions, putting his rare PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator Pokémon card up for sale. The highly sought-after collectible has been listed through Goldin Auctions, where the bidding action is already fierce. Paul initially sought a floor of $1.3 million, but that target has already been shattered, with the current bid standing at a remarkable $1.45 million—and the auction still has 40 days left to run.
The astronomical value of this card is due entirely to its exceptionally limited distribution. Unlike standard TCG releases, the Pikachu Illustrator was never available for purchase in packs. It was issued in 1998 as a prize for winners of the “Pokemon Card Game Illust Artist Contest,” hosted by Japan’s CoroCoro Comic magazine the previous year. The winning artists received one copy of this unique Pikachu Illustrator card along with 20 copies of the Pokémon card they designed, cementing its status as one of the rarest artifacts in the trading card hobby.
To sweeten the deal for potential bidders, Paul has confirmed that the final package includes more than just the slabbed card. The winner will also receive the customized, iced-out chain designed specifically to hold the card, which Paul estimates to be worth $75,000. Additionally, the WWE performer has promised to personally deliver the multi-million dollar asset to the winning bidder, adding a unique twist to the sale.
